The city Bhubaneswar is one of the fastest growing urban agglomeration of the country. Rapid urban growth of this capital city of Odisha, started during 1985, resulting in demand of social infrastructure to cater to the needs of the cosmopolitan nature of this city. At the time the need of English Medium Education in the periphery of the city was felt. This give rise to setting up of “Guidance English Medium school” at Dumduma in the foot hills of famous Khandagiri Hills situated in the south western out skirt of Bhubaneswar with the expansion of the city the school is now within the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation limit, well connected to city infrastructure. Community its journey in the year 1988, it has grown step by step and has achieved the standard of one of the best English Medium High Secondary School imparting education up to 12th standard in C.B.S.E. Pattern. The school has the required infrastructure to provide balanced mental and physical growth to its students. Spread over more than one acre of land it provides for classroom teaching in the three storied school building having 50 class rooms. It provides for well stocked Library and Science.
